Term’s and Conditions:

These Terms & Conditions govern all garments from Dressed by Her. By renting an item, the customer agrees to the following terms.

1.1 The standard rental period is 4 days, beginning on the agreed collection or delivery date.
1.2 Late returns will incur a late fee of $20 per day until the garment is returned.
1.3 If the garment is not returned within 10 days of the return date, it may be considered lost, and the customer will be charged 150% of the full retail value (RRP) as stated in the listing description.
2.1 A booking is confirmed once full payment has been received.
2.2 Rental fees must be paid prior to collection or delivery.
2.3 A security bond of 50% will be required and will be refunded once the garment is returned in satisfactory condition.
2.4 By hiring a garment from us, you agree that your payment details may be securely retained until the hired garment has been returned and inspected. Payment details will only be held for the purpose of covering any applicable fees relating to damage, loss, or late return. Once the garment has been returned in acceptable condition and all obligations have been met, the retained payment details will no longer be held.
3.1 Cancellations made more than 5 days before the rental date will receive a full refund.
3.2 Cancellations made within 5 days of the rental date are non-refundable.
3.3 If Dressed by Her must cancel a booking due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances, a full refund will be issued.
4.1 All garments are inspected and cleaned prior to rental.
4.2 Customers must return the garment in the same condition it was received.
4.3 The customer must not attempt to wash, dry clean, alter, or repair the garment under any circumstances.
5.1 The customer accepts responsibility for the garment during the rental period.
5.2 Remediation charges will apply for:
- Stains requiring specialist cleaning
- Rips, tears, or structural damage
- Missing embellishments, belts, or accessories
5.3 If a garment is stolen, or damaged beyond repair, the customer will be charged 150% of the full retail value (RRP) as stated in the listing description.
6.1 No permanent alterations may be made to any garment.
6.2 Temporary adjustments such as fashion tape or clips may be used if they do not damage the garment.
7.1 While Dressed by Her may provide sizing guidance, the customer is responsible for ensuring the garment fits appropriately.
7.2 No refunds will be issued if the garment does not fit after collection or delivery, however the garment may be exchanged for another available garment if notified within 24 hours of delivery. Note: additional postage costs for replacement garment will apply.
7.3 If the replacement garment costs more than the original hire price, the customer must pay the difference. For example, if a garment hired for $50 is wanting to be exchanged and the replacement cost is $80, the customer will be required to pay the $30 difference.
If the replacement garment costs less than the original hire price, the customer will not have any additional costs except for the postage costs for the replacement garment. Regardless of the replacement garment price the customer is not entitled to any refund.
8.1 Dressed by Her will handle all professional cleaning.
8.2 Customers must not wash or dry clean the garment themselves.
9.1 Dressed by Her is not liable for:
- Injuries caused while wearing rented garments
- Allergic reactions to fabrics or materials
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
9.2 The customer assumes full responsibility for the use of the garment during the rental period.
10.1 Customers may be asked for permission to use photos of the garment being worn for marketing purposes on social media or promotional materials.
10.2 Consent will always be requested prior to use.
By renting from Dressed by Her, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
